Causes and Solutions for Knife Sealing Temperature Fluctuation
2026-03-19
During machine operation, the knife sealing temperature may fluctuate significantly. This instability can affect sealing quality, resulting in weak seals, poor appearance, and even compromised product quality. Therefore, timely troubleshooting and maintenance are essential to ensure stable performance.
Before starting maintenance, it is important to prepare the necessary tools to ensure smooth operation. Common tools include a Phillips screwdriver, 400-grit sandpaper, an M8 Allen wrench set, scissors, and a clean dry cloth. These tools are essential for disassembly, polishing, and cleaning tasks.
Before performing any maintenance work, always disconnect the power supply. This is the most critical step to prevent electrical hazards and accidental machine startup. Only proceed when the machine is completely powered off.
After ensuring the power is off, remove the protective cover of the knife sealing unit. This allows access to key internal components such as the conductive ring and carbon brushes. Be careful to keep track of screws and follow the correct disassembly process to avoid reassembly issues.
One common cause of temperature fluctuation is poor contact on the conductive ring surface. Use approximately 400-grit sandpaper to gently polish the surface. This helps remove oxidation and impurities, improving conductivity and stabilizing temperature output.
The condition of the carbon brushes also plays a crucial role in temperature stability. First, use an M8 Allen wrench to remove the carbon brush by loosening the fixing screws. Then polish the brush surface with fine sandpaper and clean it with a dry cloth. Reinstall the carbon brush firmly, ensuring tight contact with the conductive ring, and securely fasten the screws to prevent loosening.
After completing all maintenance steps, reconnect the power and test the machine. Observe whether the knife sealing temperature has stabilized. If the fluctuation is reduced or eliminated, the issue has been resolved. If not, further inspection may be required.
